This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which donation refunds may be requested, reviewed, approved, partially approved, or declined.

3. General Donation Policy

All donations made to Islamic Care Foundation are voluntary charitable contributions intended to support approved humanitarian, educational, healthcare, welfare, spiritual, and community development initiatives.

As charitable funds may be allocated, committed, or utilized shortly after receipt, donations are generally treated as final and non-refundable.


 

4. Non-Refundable Donations

As a general policy, all successfully completed donations are non-refundable.

This includes donations made through:

• Website Donation Forms
• UPI Payments
• QR Code Payments
• Bank Transfers
• Payment Gateway Transactions
• Fundraising Campaigns
• Sponsorship Programs
• Event Registrations (where applicable)
• Special Relief Campaigns


 

5. Eligible Refund Cases

Refund requests may be considered only under genuine, verifiable, and exceptional circumstances.

A. Duplicate Transactions
If the same donor is charged multiple times unintentionally for the same donation.

B. Incorrect Donation Amount
If an incorrect donation amount is entered due to accidental user input.

C. Unauthorized Transaction
If a payment is made without the donor’s authorization and sufficient supporting evidence is provided.

D. Technical Payment Error
If payment is successfully debited but not properly recorded due to technical issues.

E. System or Gateway Error
If a payment gateway, banking partner, or technical malfunction causes an incorrect charge.


 

6. Non-Eligible Refund Cases

Refund requests will generally not be approved in the following situations:

• Change of mind after making a donation
• Donations made voluntarily with correct information
• Donations made after campaign completion
• Donations already allocated or utilized
• Failure to review campaign details before donating
• Personal financial circumstances after donation
• Delay in acknowledgment messages
• Minor banking or payment gateway delays


 

7. Fundraising & Campaign Contributions

Donations made toward fundraising campaigns are generally non-refundable once funds are:

• Allocated
• Released
• Committed to beneficiaries
• Utilized for approved projects

Islamic Care Foundation reserves the right to review exceptional cases individually.


 

8. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, donors must submit a written request containing:

• Payment Date
• Donation Amount

• Reason for Refund Request
• Supporting Documents (where applicable)

9. Refund Request Timeline

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days from the original transaction date.

Requests received after this period may not be considered.


 

10. Verification Process

All refund requests are subject to internal verification, which may include:

• Fraud Detection Review
• Donor Identity Verification
• Fund Allocation Review

11. Refund Approval & Processing

If approved:

• Alternative methods may be used where necessary

12. Processing Charges

Payment gateway charges, banking fees, taxes, and third-party processing charges may be deducted where applicable and may not always be refundable.


 

13. Fraud Prevention

Islamic Care Foundation reserves the right to reject refund requests involving:

• Fraudulent claims
• Misrepresentation
• Chargeback abuse
• Suspicious activity
• Identity mismatch

Such matters may be escalated to appropriate authorities where necessary.


 

14. Right to Final Decision

Islamic Care Foundation reserves the absolute right to:

• Review
• Approve
• Partially Approve
• Decline

any refund request based on verification, compliance requirements, operational commitments, and applicable laws.

The organization’s decision shall be final.


 

15. International Donations & FCRA

International donations are subject to applicable Indian laws.

FCRA Status:
Islamic Care Foundation is currently not accepting foreign contributions under FCRA.

International contributions may be accepted only after obtaining statutory approvals.


 

16. Governing Law

This Refund Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of courts located in:
